June was a very good month to me in the art experience!! I am so happy to say that I have been accepted into three juried shows in the next few months: Maury Regional "Art Effects Show" in August, "Artsclamation!" Knoxville in November, and "The Art Show" at Brentwood Academy in December!!!! I am SO humbled and honored and excited, to say the least! Being good enough to be juried into such great art shows has been a hope and dream for me.
 And that's not all! I entered the Light Space & Time Online Gallery's Figurative Competition for June, only my second time ever entering an art competition and I won a place in the Special Merit Award Category!!! " Special Merit Award Category – These are the artists and their artwork which we felt could easily have been placed higher but due to the size constraints in each media category, this art was placed in this special category. Any of the Special Merit art, in many cases, is interchangeable with the best art that we selected for the top tiers. "

I think it might be time to explore Nashville again! I wouldn't want you dancing and drinking without the Cribbs! Besides that...Congratulations! I myself am happiest because the art work on my walls is worth way more than the original price! hmmm. could be time to buy more before more of your reputation gets out! See you in september!

Congradulations Wendy. Wish I were closer so I could see your work in person. I love what I see on line. I have found my passion in helping people with fibromyalgia. I finally got the right help and feeling much better. Don't want others to wait 25 years like I did. Isn't it great being a grandparent ? I have 3. I will move back to the Vancouver area to be with them when Mom passes. Let's talk on the phone soon.
