Just for fun I thought I would end this year by selecting my nine favorite paintings of the thirty-plus that I've finished in 2019. It's been a great year for learning, improving, showing, and selling. I'm feeling very blessed and looking forward to what 2020 will bring. As always, thank you for reading my blog!!!

He is a cutie! And so fun to paint, layering transparent color to make him seem real. Squirrels can be a nuisance but so cute!

I always think I've seen all your paintings and then you put together a collection like this and I realize I've missed one. LOVE the little boy umbrella definitely a favorite. The river is so beautiful and of course I love the two paintings that I have a special connection too. Your talent and work ethic continue to amaze me and I can't wait to see what 2020 brings.

The little boy with the umbrella was a commission I did last January...it's a lot easier to paint the backside of a human, that's for sure! I realized that I overlooked another favorite and I don't think it's up on my website either...Lamb Love (woman holding a lamb).

Hello! My name is Wendy and I am passionate about oil painting! Whether in the studio or out in Mother Nature, I get lost in the experience of capturing on canvas the moment and the feel of what I am painting. I pour my love and energy into every single piece of artwork and I hope it shows! This blog is a place where I can use words to talk about art, painting, life, faith, things that make me laugh, and things that inspire. I love every response, so don't be shy about leaving a comment...Archives
